ABOUT

American screen actor, broadway alumna, and recording artist, Zarah Mahler is emerging as a dynamic and multi-faceted talent. On the big screen, Mahler most recently starred in Nightmare Cinema opposite Mickey Rourke and Richard Chamberlain, receiving rave reviews for her work under the direction of horror legend Joe Dante (Gremlins, The Howling) in this anthology fan favorite. This spring she can be seen starring in the Pierce bros’ highly anticipated creature feature The Wretched, in theaters and streaming May 1st. Zarah is well known for her recurring role as Emily Raydor on TNT’s Major Crimes where she plays the daughter of Oscar nominee Mary McDonnell. She also recently guest starred in Fox’s hit show 9-1-1. Additional film and television credits include Beyond Skyline, Ghost Whisperer, Saltwater, etc. On stage, Zarah has starred in such Broadway productions as Wicked and Soul Doctor. Other theatre credits include Cabaret, Rent (directed by Neil Patrick Harris), and Appropriate at the Mark Taper Forum in Downtown Los Angeles. As a singer/songwriter, Zarah is currently collaborating on multiple new albums with Grammy Award winner Fredy Muks, composer/producer Leo Z, and Grammy Award nominee and producer Brian Kehew. She has composed songs for popular Korean recording artists, EDM groups, and theatrical productions. Her debut album, Ophidian can be found on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and all major online platforms.
